Geneva Association seeks program director
Australian insurance professionals with an academic bent and well-developed communications skills could be interested in a position being advertised at the Geneva Association.
The association, which is based in Basel, Switzerland, is seeking a director to lead its financial stability program.
The job includes overseeing publications and reports and communicating with members, regulators and relevant institutions.
Candidates need at least 10 years’ experience in insurance and finance research, or to have occupied senior roles with strategic responsibilities in the sector.
Academic credentials should include a masters degree or PhD, while a readiness to travel internationally and a strong commitment to the insurance industry’s role in the economy and society are crucial.
The association is an insurance and risk management research and advocacy group.
It was founded in 1973 as the International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics. Current board members include IAG MD and CEO Mike Wilkins.
