Gallagher Bassett has appointed Paul Cassar to the new role of Strategic Manager Mental Health for Victoria.

Mr Cassar will be responsible for conducting research and developing a best practice claims management model for mental injury claims, including claims involving a secondary psychological condition.

He is a registered psychologist and previously spent eight years as a return-to-work manager at WorkSafe Victoria.
