Gallagher broker Andrew McCormack has been named senior broker professional of the year at the NT Insurance Conference in Darwin.

Gallagher Bassett’s Return To Work Specialist Karlie Clausen won the customer service professional category, while Territory Insurance Office Underwriter Ciara Bergin took the business development manager/underwriting professional award.

Crawford & Company Branch Manager and Senior Loss Adjuster Leanne Johnson won the claims professional award, M&J Builders director Michael Buckley took the service provider prize and Crawford & Company Trainee External Loss Adjuster Rebecca Hill won in the young insurance professional category.

Session attendance at last week’s conference was up about 23% and sponsorship increased 27%, organiser Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs) NT says.

“Every year the quality of the presentations and topic areas goes from strength to strength,” YIPs NT committee president Katie McGettigan told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
