Claims management company Gallagher Bassett is running a free webinar this week to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the insurance industry.

On Wednesday EVP International Jon Winsbury will front the session on ways insurers can respond effectively to catastrophic events. He has led the company’s claims response to every major catastrophe in the Southern Hemisphere for more than 10 years.

“Through natural disasters, cyber events and the global pandemic, claims surge events are becoming increasingly frequent, and the insurance industry must learn from each of these events to prepare themselves for a better tomorrow,” Mr Winsbury said.

UK Chief Client Officer Pete Diskin will speak at the session on Friday about the true cost of claims for insurers and ways to improve financial outcomes.
