Gallagher Bassett creates Head of Personal Injury Innovation role
Melbourne-based Stephanie Connolly has been promoted to the newly created Head of Personal Injury Innovation role at Gallagher Bassett Australia, which aims to "shift focus to innovation and excellence in this complex space”.
Ms Connolly joined Gallagher Bassett more than a decade ago and has worked in several Injury Management and Personal Injury roles.
The new position will leverage existing capability locally and globally to enhance Personal Injury (PI) strategies and establish new, innovative solutions, tailored claims management and integrate GBCare into Australian businesses to improve early intervention and recovery outcomes.
“The ability to collaborate with our operations nationally and with the US team has already demonstrated the drive across the business to embrace innovation and achieve optimal outcomes for our customers,” Ms Connolly said.
She says an ability to leverage global capabilities and extensive local experience provides a strong platform to remain at the forefront of PI innovation and drive excellence.
“All claims are different and so we take a holistic, person-centred approach to PI claims and have developed extensive specialisation and expertise for all injury types and industries,” she said.
A number of decision support tools and interactive dashboards have been developed to drive optimal claim outcomes and Ms Connolly said she looked forward to working closely with the team to explore further enhancement and expansion of those tools nationally.
“Adding innovation and a goal of excellence enhances our ability to respond to claims in a personalised, tailored and efficient manner and I’m excited for what’s ahead,” she said.
