Veteran marine broker Jim Metters has been appointed Principal Broker at Arthur J Gallagher Australia.

Mr Metters’ career in the industry spans 40 years, including time as managing principal for marine at Marsh. He will be based in Sydney and report to Marine Practice Leader Alan Wilkins.

Mark Rudman will also join Gallagher’s marine practice, as Client Manager. He was previously a manager at marine insurance broker Australian Risk Applications.

Gallagher Head of Corporate Broking Mark Oatway says the expansion of Gallagher’s specialist industry capabilities is “progressing quickly”.
