Loss adjuster FT Adjusting says Richard Kranz will join its team next month as Executive Loss Adjuster, specialising in machinery breakdowns and engineering claims.

The mechanical engineer is leaving his role as senior technical loss adjuster at Technical Assessing, where he has been since 2003.

Director and founder Ian McWalter told insuranceNEWS.com.au the appointment makes FT Adjusting the largest niche provider of construction and engineering claim adjusting services in Australia.

“Richard allows us to provide the full suite of services in this specialist area and allows for further expansion,” he said.

Earlier this year Simon Hovian, who was national manager of construction and engineering at Crawford & Company, joined FT Adjusters as Executive Loss Adjuster, dealing predominantly with construction. He has 11 years’ loss adjusting experience and six years in construction broking.
