Advisers from practices from WA, SA Tasmania and NSW won Financial Planning Association (FPA) Best Practice awards at the annual conference in Brisbane last week.

Pippa Elliot of Momentum Planning in WA won the FPA Certified Financial Planner Professional Practice Award.

FPA Associate Financial Planner Best Practice awards went to Michael Smith from Pure Financial Management in SA and Jim Fenwicke of Fenwicke Financial Services in NSW.

The Future2 Community Service Best Practice award winners were Charles Badenach of Shadforth Financial Group in Tasmania and Ross Shepherd of TBA Financial Services in NSW.

The best practice awards replace the previous FPA Value of Advice awards and were judged on real client cases and the outcomes from the advice that was given.

Entrants were also judged on areas such as practice management, business model, professional development, client testimonials and work with the local community.
