FP Marine Risks has appointed Rupert Morton as Head of Reinsurance for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific – a new role at the company.

Mr Morton worked as a broker in the marine market at Lloyd’s for 25 years before moving to Australia in 2002. He has since worked in facultative reinsurance roles, most recently at Aon.

“There is growing demand for tailored facultative reinsurance among many insurers in the region,” he said.
