The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has announced its national conference will be held in Melbourne on September 8.

“Financial services continue to be the subject of intense scrutiny,” it says.

“The FOS Australia National Conference provides a great opportunity for FOS, member firms and other stakeholders to take stock of the past couple of years, discuss recent developments and consider what lies ahead for all of us involved in dealing with consumer complaints.”

Registrations are yet to open for the event, which takes place at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre with the theme “beyond the promise – a new resolve”.
