Registrations are now open for this year’s Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) national conference at the Melbourne Convention Centre on September 8.

The theme is “Beyond the promise – a new resolve”, and there is a welcome dinner on the evening of September 7.

“This theme reflects both our ongoing efforts to improve our dispute handling at FOS, and also our commitment to working with all our stakeholders to achieve improved standards, ethical practices and service levels across the whole financial sector,” FOS says.

“The next few years are critical to ensure current efforts to improve professional and ethical standards across all sectors of the financial industry move beyond promises, into action.”
