FOS calls for new panellists
The Financial Ombudsman Service is seeking new panel members.
It plans to develop a register of people it can appoint to decision-making panels as consumer or industry representatives.
The service is looking for panellists who can act independently, know the laws governing the industry and external dispute resolution schemes, and who have experience as decision-makers in their relevant industry.
Expressions of interest close on August 23. The service is based in Melbourne but is seeking candidates around the country.
