Former Austbrokers chief wins Lex McKeown award
Austbrokers founder and former CEO Lach McKeough has won this year’s National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Lex McKeown Trophy.
The award was announced at the association’s convention in Melbourne today.
NIBA President David Wyner noted Mr McKeough’s “long-standing contribution” to the industry after setting up the cluster group and building it into a leading broker group over 27 years.
The Lex McKeown Trophy is awarded at the discretion of the NIBA President for outstanding service to the association and the broking profession.
Mr McKeough retired from his CEO role at the end of last year.
