Former AFA president joins Asian board
Former Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) President James Taggart has been elected to join the board of an Asian financial advisers body.
He will be joining the Asia Pacific Financial Services Association as the board member for Australia.
The association represents the interests of financial advisers across the Asia-Pacific region including NZ, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Dr Taggart is not the first AFA member to be a board member on the association, with Rod Scurrah becoming Chairman in 1994/95 and John Craik in the same role from 1997-1999.
