Zurich Australia CEO Daniel Fogarty will give the keynote address at the Australian Professional Indemnity Group’s National Conference on Thursday September 4.

The group has moved the event from its traditional Monday slot in response to member demand and has added sessions on the fundamentals of both directors’ and officers’ and professional indemnity insurance.

These sessions are designed for junior and new entrants to the industry or anyone who wants to brush up on the basics. Tickets will be sold separately.

Mr Fogarty replaces former Zurich Global chief underwriting officer Paul Schiavone, who has changed roles.

Other speakers include NSW District Court judge Judith Gibson, Clayton Utz partner Fred Hawke, Aon Risk Client Manager Eric Lowenstein and Liberty Underwriting Manager Marcus Thomas.

The event will be at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth and tickets will be available shortly.
