Fire Protection chief Scott Williams departs
Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) CEO Scott Williams has left the organisation after more than 11 years at the helm.
The national peak body for fire safety is a not-for-profit organisation which employs more than 35 employees at its national head office in Melbourne.
Under Mr William’s leadership, the association helped shape some of the most important reforms in fire protection, including getting the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme recognised in NSW as the primary evidence of competence for fire safety practitioners, and raising its profile as the leading fire industry association in the country.
