Fire protection agency runs insurance webinar

Fire Protection Association Australia  (FPAA)  will  run a free webinar this month on insurance, addressing a number of key topics such as different types of products in the market  and importance of securing adequate coverage.

Windsor Management Insurance Brokers National Development Manager Richard  Luscombe will also touch on  insureds’ rights and obligations when he hosts the one-hour forum on August 18.

The session will address other key areas too including level of coverage  fire protection practitioners and companies need  and regulatory requirements.

In particular,  Mr  Luscombe  will cover the insurance requirements of the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme  and discuss tips  and traps that will ensure  practitioners do not spend  more than  what they need  in order to get covered.

FPAA also announced new dates for the  Australian Bushfire Building Conference because of the ongoing NSW coronavirus restrictions.

The conference will now take place from November 1-3 instead of August 25-27.

This year’s event will run in a hybrid format  with a live and in-person conference hub  at the  Fairmont Resort,  Leura, in the Blue Mountains.
