The Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia) has launched a new online resource for students that provides professional counselling on the industry and career paths.

The resource has information on jobs, resources and networks and can connect students with a professional counsellor who will provide confidential and personalised responses to career questions.

Finsia interim CEO Russell Thomas says the site is a response to comments from students who said they wanted job information to guide them on their career paths.

“They can also request to be matched to a mentor or get involved with one of our long-standing Young Financial Professionals groups,” he said.
