The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has opened its annual awards scheme for nominations.

The Australian Insurance Industry Awards ceremony takes place in Sydney on August 19, and submissions must be made via the ANZIIF website before April 10.

Three new categories have been added: direct general insurance company of the year; professional services firm of the year; and young insurance professional of the year.

Other categories are: small broker; medium broker; large broker; underwriting agency; small-medium general insurance company; large general insurance company; life insurance company; innovation; service provider to the insurance industry; women’s employer; youth development employer; insurance leader; and the ANZIIF lifetime achievement award.
