JLT Re Asia-Pacific has appointed Jon Calverley as a director and Paul Steiner as an associate director.

CEO Stuart Beatty says the pair will focus on developing JLT Re’s program and facility capabilities.

“As we continue to expand in the region, these are great additions to the team,” he said.

Mr Calverley was previously MD of Cooper Gay in Australia. Before joining Cooper Gay in 2006 he held senior positions with JLT Risk Solutions in Sydney and London.

Mr Steiner was a senior wholesale broker at Cooper Gay. Before that he was NSW and ACT distribution manager, placement solutions for QBE Insurance.
