Austbrokers Holdings founder and former CEO Lach McKeough has joined PSC Insurance Group as an adviser.

He will work with the board and senior executives on matters such as mergers and acquisitions and the group’s investment holdings in the UK market, according to MD Paul Dwyer.

Mr McKeough will provide “invaluable insight and experience” to support PSC’s “ambitious growth aspirations”, Mr Dwyer told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“We are extremely fortunate to attract somebody of Lach’s experience and reputation to PSC Insurance Group. Lach was the key driver behind the listing of Austbrokers and was CEO during a period of sustained and profitable growth, creating significant value for all shareholders.”

Mr McKeough built Austbrokers into a leading broker group over 27 years, before retiring as CEO in 2012.
