Honan Insurance Group has appointed Travis Wendt as Head of Broking and Carrier Management.

Mr Wendt took up the Melbourne-based position this month, according to his LinkedIn profile. He will oversee property and casualty placements, and cluster and broader insurance supplier relationships.

He was most recently a placement manager with Aon Risk Services.

In a separate announcement today, Honan says Kieran Drum has been promoted to National Head of Strata, also based in Melbourne.

Mr Drum joined Honan as a broker in 2015 after returning from London where he worked in Aon Risk Solutions’ energy division as broker client manager.
