EML has produced a video to help employers, especially SMEs, better understand workers’ compensation insurance.

It follows last year’s video guide helping injured people navigate the complex system.

“We know some people, particularly in small to medium businesses, can find it difficult to understand WorkCover insurance,” the personal injury insurance specialist’s Customer Experience Manager Victoria Helena Swindells said.

“They need help knowing how their premium is calculated, what they need to pay and by when, and their payment options so they can take advantage of the discount available.”

The latest video outlines the insurance renewal process and explains the information in premium notices mailed to employers every July.

EML is sending the video to about 10,000 employers.
