Workers’ compensation mutual EML has hired former Cover-More executive Tracey Harris as Group Executive Corporate Services.

insuranceNEWS.com.au reported in August that former BT general insurance head Gerard McDermott had been appointed to the corporate services role. The information was obtained from his LinkedIn account, and EML declined at the time to confirm the appointment.

Mr McDermott has now been named as EML’s new Group Executive Managed Funds.

Ms Harris has operational and strategic experience locally and internationally, and previously held senior roles with Cover-More and CareFlight Group.
