Elantis academy focuses on technology
The Elantis Learning Academy has unveiled its workshop agenda for this year, which will focus on the ways brokers can use technology to run their businesses.
Speakers will talk about social media, mobile devices such as the iPhone and iPad as well as strategies to move the business into the digital age.
Melbourne-based Brad Howarth, who specialises in technology, digital media, and marketing industries, is one of the speakers.
“The concept of the Elantis Learning Academy originated from brokers expressing their desire to attend a formal education and development program and underlines our commitment to find new ways to add value to the broker market,” Elantis says.
The first session opens in Perth on Tuesday, followed by Brisbane (June 16), Sydney (August 12), Melbourne (August 19) and Adelaide (September 21). It will then proceed to New Zealand in September and October.
The academy is an initiative with the National Insurance Brokers Association that was announced last year and is aimed at providing intermediaries with education and development opportunities.
The sessions are aimed at brokers and are free.
