The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) has received eight nominations for five board vacancies.

Three directors will seek re-election: Heath Amber (MD, Millennium); Emily Walker (Manager, Axis Underwriting Services); and Linda King (director, Sterling Insurance).

Ms King is UAC Treasurer and Mr Amber the immediate past chairman.

The five other nominees are Suzanne White (Head of Life Accident and Health, Beazley); Jarrod Bell (Underwriting Manager, Sportscover); Denver Van Gramberg (Head of Sales and Marketing, Sura); Rhys Mills (MD, Solution Underwriting); and Simon Lightbody (CEO, Steadfast Underwriting Agencies).

Eligible UAC member agency principals will vote for the new board at the annual general meeting on December 15 in Sydney. Directors are elected for two-year terms.
