London-based wholesale insurance and reinsurance broker Ed – known until 2016 as Cooper Gay – has appointed former IAG executive Marcus Taylor as its Head of Reinsurance Asia-Pacific.

Mr Taylor will take up the Singapore-based role later this year and report to CEO Reinsurance Kieran Angelini-Hurll and CEO Asia-Pacific Stephen Britten.

He was formerly IAG’s senior manager reinsurance international, which saw him serve as CEO for IAG Re Singapore and IAG Re Labuan.
