EBM makes string of appointments in ‘renewal’ push
Broker EBM Insurance & Risk has recruited two QBE executives and made several internal appointments to its leadership.
Lawrence Kenyon, previously head of agency distribution at QBE-owned Elders Insurance, has been appointed Regional Director, based in Perth, with responsibility for the Bunbury and Geraldton regions. He joined the privately owned broker last month, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Luke Westell, who was with QBE Insurance from 2010 until last year, joined the broker’s injury management unit last month as Team Leader, according to his LinkedIn.
Executive account managers Chelsey Harris and Thom Anderson-Nicholls have been promoted to Regional Director roles. They will support key clients in Perth and Kalgoorlie, and Mr Anderson-Nicholls adds clients in Karratha to his portfolio.
Ashton George, who has worked for more than 30 years with the broker, becomes Executive Client Director, focusing on client relationships and business development across the broking business nationwide. He has been regional director since 2017, according to his LinkedIn.
EBM MD Peter McLachlan says the appointments will drive “even better service and an even better client experience. We are committed to innovation and renewal across our business and across our teams, and these appointments are a great way to start 2024, and another year of positive growth.”
