National broker EBM Insurance & Risk has recruited Clancy Carter as return to work specialist.

Ms Carter will lead the new Early Intervention Return to Work service, which aims to improve outcomes for injured workers and their employers.

EBM national manager for injury management Julian Lane says early intervention is one of the most effective ways to support injured workers while minimising the impact of claims.

“Our new service equips employers with the tools to act quickly and confidently, supported by expert guidance that aligns with the It Pays to Care philosophy,” he said.

“By prioritising collaboration, timely treatment and suitable duties, we’re helping employers reduce costs while doing the right thing by their people.” 

Ms Carter is a physiotherapist and accredited mediator. She was most recently principal injury management consultant at Altius Group, according to her LinkedIn.
