Dual has promoted Leo Abbruzzo to the new position of Australia GM following a 10-year career with the company across a range of roles.

CEO Damien Coates says Mr Abbruzzo takes responsibility for the Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane branches, plus the National Business Unit.

“We really need someone focusing on making sure we are providing consistent service to brokers across the nation,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Mr Coates continues to have overall responsibility for Dual’s Australian business.

Elias Karim will fill the National Business Unit Manager role vacated by Mr Abbruzzo.

Mr Karim has been with Dual for five years as a senior underwriter, having previously spent seven years underwriting financial lines business.
