Crawford & Company says Doron Grossman has this month joined the business as Country Manager Hong Kong, reporting to President Asia Veronica Grigg.

Mr Grossman will be responsible for driving the claims management group’s regional and local strategy, focusing on expanding and enhancing existing client relationships, as well as generating new business opportunities.

The business says he brings more than 40 years of insurance experience to the position, spanning senior underwriting, distribution and claims roles.

He has extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific region, having been based in Singapore in the last several years holding senior regional roles.

Mr Grossman was most recently head of independent distribution partners Asia Pacific at Chubb, a position he took on in August 2019.

Before Chubb, he was director of market development for south-east Asia with AM Best, also based in Singapore. Prior to this, he was QBE Insurance’s head of distribution, brokers and agents Asia Pacific, again in Singapore.
