The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has appointed IAG EGM Broker Business Donna Walker to its board.

Ms Walker joined CGU in 1999 and in 2007 became its head actuary, followed by spells as GM technical services, GM claims and chief actuary.

She also chairs IAG’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Group.

ANZIIF Deputy President Allan Reynolds says Ms Walker’s experience and passion for creating opportunities for young professionals make her a “compelling” choice as a director at the institute.

“She is highly respected in the insurance industry, particularly in the broker community, and we welcome her contribution at a board level,” he said.
