DLA Piper has made several senior lawyer promotions across its four Australian offices.

Alicia Pull and Jade Nelson have been named special counsels for the Perth division, specialising in the regulatory and finance sectors, respectively. Simone Bajraszewski has been named special counsel for corporate in the Melbourne team.

The firm has also appointed nine new senior associates in its Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices and promoted Rob Henham to senior adviser of its management consulting business, DLA Piper Business Advisory.

Managing partner Amber Matthews says the promotions recognise “the hard work and commitment of each individual”. She says 83% of the firm’s senior lawyer promotions this year have been women, showing the firm’s “strong talent pipeline”.
