Dive In festival registration opens
Registration for this year’s Dive In, the insurance industry’s longstanding festival promoting diversity and inclusion, is now open.
Taking place worldwide from September 21-23, this year’s festival will take on a hybrid format, with more than 100 events, both virtual and physical, in more than 30 countries.
The 2021 festival theme Active Allyship highlights a need to create and empower diversity and inclusion “allies” to take action, rather than just talk. Attendees will be urged to turn their commitments into real support for underrepresented groups, and take responsibility for creating an inclusive workplace.
“The past few years have seen major breakthroughs on diversity and inclusion and have spurred many important conversations but this year’s festival will focus on acting on these conversations and standing up for what is right, allowing us to accelerate the pace of change,” Aviva Group Head of Talent Acquisition & Diversity & Inclusion Jonny Briggs said.
Last year’s virtual festival attracted a record-breaking 30,000 participants.
A range of topics will be covered in 2021: In Italy, events will look at work-life balance and parenting support; in Singapore the focus will be on workplace responses to domestic violence; Nigeria will host an event on the generation gap; Hong Kong will look at empowerment through inclusive communication; and the UK will focus on embracing the power of neurodiversity.
Full details about events and speakers will be available on the Dive In website and later to rewatch on the Videoflex platform.
Attendees are invited to participate in the Dive In video and social media campaign to be shared on the festival’s social media channels this month.
