Dive In attracts record audience
This year’s Dive In festival broke attendance records, with more than 45,000 registrations across 81 countries.
There were 133 events at the award-winning insurance industry diversity and inclusion festival, held last month. It was Dive In’s 10th anniversary.
“This year, our goal was to showcase the progress over the last 10 years, while identifying specific areas where we still have room to improve,” senior program manager Yulia Hayward said.
“It’s been remarkable to witness Dive In’s journey to becoming a reputable global movement across the insurance industry and beyond. As Dive In enters its 11th year, we’re incredibly inspired to continue our journey in promoting proactive improvement for diversity in all its forms.”
This year’s theme was A Sustainable Future: The Next 10 Years. More than 450 speakers explored multigenerational workforces, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, leadership, disability, racial inclusion and gender equity.
“Open conversations in Australia encouraged participants to ask challenging questions to individuals from diverse backgrounds,” the organisers said.
