Steven Manning, son of LMI Group founder and MD Allan Manning, has been appointed a director of the company’s Australian, New Zealand and Singapore operations.

He is a recent graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has taken a key role in the introduction of LMI Group’s online knowledge-based e-services internationally.

“In his role as head of e-services Steven has been responsible for 40% of the revenue of the organisation,” Professor Manning said.

“Steven’s appointment is part of LMI Group’s overall succession plan, which allows him a number of years’ experience at board level before taking over as MD in July 2021 or 2022.”

LMI Group, which provides loss management, risk assessment and technical advice to the business and insurance communities, began as Loss Management International in 1999.
