Deadline extended for Frank Earl scholarship
Brokers wanting to apply for the National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) Frank Earl scholarship will have an extra month to submit their applications.
The association has extended the deadline for submissions until March 30.
NIBA launched the educational award in 2010. They are dedicated to the memory of long-serving NIBA board member Frank Earl, who was a strong supporter of education and professionalism through his work on NIBA’s board and education committees.
The scholarship funds an individual to complete a graduate diploma of financial services with NIBA College.
Applicants must be employed or contracted by a NIBA member firm, have completed a suitable course in insurance broking and have a minimum of four years’ broking experience. Preference will be given to members of NIBA College.
The award is sponsored by Pacific Premium Funding, whose MD Stuart White told insuranceNEWS.com.au his company recognises the importance of “continuing education and development for the very talented people in this industry”.
