Cyber risks among key topics at APIG national conference
The Australian Professional Indemnity Group (APIG) national conference next week will explore latest trends, best practices and innovations in areas across financial lines.
Topics covered will include cyber risks, management liability experiences, and the state of play in the Australian building and construction industry, the program shows.
The first keynote speaker, forensic biologist Kirsty Wright, will share experiences and insights in a session titled After the wave: managing in a disaster.
After lunch, RT ProExec Executive Vice President and author of The D&O Diary Kevin LaCroix will deliver a second keynote speech on emerging factors in global executive risks.
A session titled the Law Enforcement Response to Financial and Cyber Crime: Guidance for the Insurance Market will be addressed by NSW Police Commander Cybercrime Squad Detective Superintendent Matt Craft and Korda Mentha Director Roland Winter.
Lloyd’s Deputy Regional Director Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Chris McKinnon will speak on Lloyd’s of London to Lloyd’s Worldwide: navigating alternative markets.
An early pre-conference session at 7:30am will include a panel of experts who will discuss The Modern Art of Broking: managing clients, the market and risk.
The conference, to be held at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park on Thursday next week, will conclude with a gala dinner.
