Challenges facing insurers in the rapidly evolving digital space will be among topics at the Cyber Insurance Forum in Sydney, organiser InnovationAus.com says.

Speakers will discuss the impact of data on cyber insurance, and the role of government and regulators. Self-driving vehicles, drones and other emerging areas that could herald new opportunities and threats for the industry will also be addressed.

Speakers at the September 21 event include Lloyd’s Australia General Representative Christopher Mackinnon, Guy Carpenter Senior VP Teresa Aquilina and IAG Director New Product Operations Ben Prangell.

John Price from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Cyber Security Alastair MacGibbon will also take part.
