Claims management group Crawford & Company says Diana Abel has joined as Sydney Operations Manager and Ryan Peacock as Metro Operations Manager covering Adelaide and Perth.

Ms Abel leads a team of claims adjusters looking after various property claims on behalf of a range of insurers. She brings with her several years of industry experience, including previous roles as general manager of an independent building firm servicing the insurance industry and national claims manager at Westpac’s general insurance arm – which was sold to Allianz last year.

Mr Peacock was most recently claims performance manager at Suncorp’s Terri Scheer Insurance.

“For us, it’s always about ‘who is the best person for the job’ and quite often that’s an internal person because we do have solid training platforms for our people to grow and develop,” Head of Property Scott Shepherd said.
