CQIB convention secures record attendance
More than 410 people attended the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers’ 22nd annual conference on the Sunshine Coast at the weekend, setting a new record for the event.
About $24,000 was raised for the Mater Foundation, aiding research, hospital stays and recovery at Brisbane’s Mater Hospital.
The weekend learning program had a strong focus on technical subjects, covering topics such as aviation, corporate travel and surveying, and there were seminars on business issues such as branding, social media and understanding financial reports.
Delegates also enjoyed a golf morning, puzzle challenges and evening events.
