Former Sura executive Kevin Corkery has joined labour hire specialist Wellington Underwriting Agencies as a director.

Mr Corkery was MD of liability underwriting agency Lawsons when it was acquired by AUB Group in 2013. He then managed the rebranded Sura Labour Hire and Sura Specialty until a year ago.

Mr Corkery told insuranceNEWS.com.au today he commenced with Wellington earlier this month, working again with former Lawsons Underwriting colleague Brian Atkin.

Perth-based Wellington, a subsidiary of Cowden, provides labour hire cover underwritten by Lloyd’s.
