CommInsure has appointed Lachlan MacDonald as its new State Manager for Queensland.

Mr MacDonald was previously Financial Planning Manager at Commonwealth Financial Planning based in Queensland, a role he has held since early 2009.

He has also worked in business development roles at Challenger, Colonial First State and BT.

Mr MacDonald started his career at Westpac as a financial planner.
