Professional IQ College has become the first provider approved to offer the new Level 5 New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services.

The Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ) revamped the college last year, changing its name from IBANZ College to dispel the impression it catered for brokers only.

Principal Lesley Southwick told insuranceNEWS.com.au the new qualification replaces the old national certificate. “It incorporates all updated legislation and regulation.”

The program is designed for individuals working in financial services who want authorised financial adviser status or specialist knowledge in insurance, personal risk, residential property lending or investment.
