Former IBNA chairman John Clark has become Technical Broking Manager at Steadfast Group. It’s understood he took up the position on May 5. 

A highly respected insurance practitioner, Mr Clark was most recently client relationship manager at Scott & Broad/Clark Pacific, an IBNA member which switched to Steadfast last year after selling a 49% share of its business to the group.

Mr Clark set up Clark Pacific Insurance Brokers in 1978, and sold it into Scott & Broad after he became seriously ill in 2006. He resigned as chairman of IBNA at the same time.

Before he left the IBNA role he was involved in early discussions that culminated in the broker group’s move into what became the AIMS broking joint venture with Austbrokers.
