Claims Workers Acting for Music (CWAFM) have hosted an online gig featuring Zoe Fox and the Rocket Clocks to assist music industry participants hard hit by coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

Insurance staff were invited to watch the Melbourne-based band’s live Instagram performance at 4pm on Friday, while enjoying pre-weekend drinks, sharing comments and donating to https://supportact.org.au.

The informal “CWAFM down” get-together recognised musicians and their support teams, including engineers, stage crew and hospitality, as among the first groups to respond with assistance for communities affected by the recent bushfire crisis.

Musicians have since seen work dry up following the closure of bars and pubs and the suspension of outdoor events.
