Claims professionals are being invited to apply for a scholarship that could net them an expenses-paid visit to the US.

Law firm TurksLegal and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance are inviting applicants for their 2010 Claims Scholarship.

The winner will secure an overseas package worth $8000, which includes registration at next year’s Claims Conference and Insurance Services Expo in Nashville, Tennessee.

The scholarship, which is now in its third year, aims to acknowledge the expertise of claims professionals within the sector.

Entries for this year’s scholarship close on October 29. The winner will be announced in December.
