Claims scholarship open for entries
Submissions are now open for this year’s Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and TurksLegal Claims Scholarship.
The program is open to residents who work for general insurance companies in Australia, and recognises excellence in the industry.
Entrants must submit a 2500-word essay answering one of five questions.
The winner will choose between a trip to next year’s Claims Conference & Insurance Services Expo in the US, worth up to $8000, or $5000 in cash and flights, accommodation and registration for next year’s ANZIIF Claims Convention.
They will also be invited to take part in judging next year’s scholarship.
“This scholarship will not only develop the winner’s understanding of the industry in a global context, but will help them to develop their leadership skills and allow them to represent Australia and grow their professional network among their international counterparts,” ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford said.
Submissions close at 5pm on October 24. The winner will be announced at the ANZIIF General Insurance Breakfast in Sydney on December 8.
