International experts on combustible cladding will address the Fire Protection Association Australia conference in Brisbane this week.

Kathleen Almand, Vice-President of Research, Data and Analytics at the US National Fire Protection Association, is among the keynote speakers.

She will present a new tool developed to help governments evaluate risks from combustible cladding.

The event will also feature Commissioner for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Brett Bassett, GM for the Australian Building Codes Board Neil Savery and Fire Protection Association Australia CEO Scott Williams.
