Chubb has appointed Scott Simpson as Country President for its general insurance business in Singapore.

He takes over from Adam Clifford, who becomes Division President Continental Europe.

Mr Simpson will oversee Singapore operations across all lines of business and report to Asia-Pacific Regional President Paul McNamee. He is currently Head of State Distribution, a position he took up last September, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He joined Chubb in 2005 as commercial lines underwriter in Sydney and has held several leadership roles, including branch manager for Melbourne and northern region head.
